Ambient Heat Loop
DAIKIN UK Air Source Heat Pumps located on the roof of the building, circulating a low grade heat loop to the residential heat pumps located in each apartment to provide low carbon, affordable heating.

-
The solar panels will provide electricity to power the pumps, reducing running costs.

-
The low grade heat loop (10-30C) will minimise heat loss compared to traditional systems (70-80C).

-
Will also provide cooling.

-
Heat expelled during cooling will enter a thermal store for later use, avoiding supply and demand issues.

-
Silent operation.

-
Zero local emission, contributing to improved local air quality.

-
Shading offered by the solar panels attracts a broader range of wildlife.

CLEAN . AFFORDABLE . EFFICIENT

To maximise the efficiency of the system and further lower emissions, we are utilising the sprinkler tank on the ground floor as a Thermal Store.
Heat rejected from the commercial areas for cooling will enter the system, meaning the heat pumps on the roof won't have to work as hard, and lower running costs!
